Dale Whittington

Dale Whittington is a Professor of Environmental Sciences & Engineering, and City & Regional Planning, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has a Chaired Professorship (part-time) at Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. Dale’s main research interests are water resources policy in developing countries, municipal water and sanitation planning in developing countries, international river basin management, and vaccine policy. His work has included water pricing and tariff design, demand for infrastructure services, and environmental valuation. His current researches are focusing on Nile river basin management, Ganges river basin management, vaccine policy. His areas of expertise include water resources economics, cost-benefit analysis, infrastructure planning, and nonmarket valuation.
